Stock up on SFX contact lenses with our creepy mesh lens design. Perfect for Halloween and cosplay, these cool coloured contacts may restrict vision but they will also complete all kinds of spooky characters.

What are mesh contacts?

Especially popular among cosplayers, our mesh contact lenses (often also referred to as screen contacts) feature a freaky mesh design that consists of a series of closely grouped horizontal and vertical printed lines. Providing almost complete coverage over both your iris and pupil. They don’t have clear pupil holes and, therefore, create an almost blind-eye effect that is perfect for use at Halloween or in cosplay.

Can you see through mesh contacts?

Mesh contacts are difficult to see through because they cover the pupil with pigment. However, unlike blind effect lenses, they do have very small clear squares to allow some light through. Some people have limited vision through these clear squares while others can only see light and not images.

Will mesh contact lenses restrict my vision?

Yes, due to the nature of mesh-like designs, your vision will be severely restricted whilst wearing mesh contacts, but not quite to the same extent as our blind contact lenses.

Can you drive with mesh contacts?

Unfortunately, because mesh contacts don’t feature a clear circular pupil like regular coloured contacts, your vision will be restricted. This means they aren’t suitable for wear if you intend to drive or operate any kind of machinery.

Providing a soft and comfortable fit, they are also durable and come in life spans ranging from daily disposable right up to 30 days. Packaged in foil sealed blisters or vials, they are sold in pairs and have a recommended wear time of up to 8 consecutive hours. Whether you have single-use or reusable contact lenses, you will need to soak them for at least 2 hours before use. If you have chosen reusable monthly mesh contact lenses then make sure to rinse and store them in fresh contact lens solution after every use. It is important not to exceed the recommended wear duration for your eye safety.

Whether you are purchasing white mesh contacts prescription or non prescription, it is important to ensure that the lenses are the correct fit for your eyes. Check the base curve and diameter from your contact lens fitting against the measurements of the lenses for a safe and comfortable experience. If you are buying prescription lenses, match the prescription strength to your eyes for clear vision.
